The West Sioux School District provides education for the citizens of western Sioux County including the towns of Hawarden, Ireton, and Chatsworth.  The West Sioux district offers a complete education from transitional kindergarten through 12th grade.  There are three buildings including:

Transitional kindergarten through first grade in the West Sioux Elementary School-Ireton Center

2nd grade through 5th grade in the West Sioux Elementary School-Hawarden Center

6th grade through 12th grade in the West Sioux Middle and High School Center.
